Ted R. Winneberger, M.D., FACEP

Dr. Winneberger received his BS degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, and his MD degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Winneberger completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina.

Dr. Winneberger has been practicing emergency medicine since 1985, and prior to his employment with Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians in 1987, he practiced in New Mexico and Colorado. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and his primary practice location is New Hanover Regional Medical Center, here in Wilmington.

Outside of his practice of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Winneberger enjoys skiing, the beautiful scenery and tranquility of Colorado, and spending time with his wife and two sons, but has a special place in his heart for helping others through mission work in other parts of the world.
