Dr. Perez received a BS degree from the University of Florida and his MD degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine.  He completed his residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina, and is board certified in Family Practice.  Dr. Perez joined Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians as one of our Pender Memorial Hospital Emergency Physicians in 2002.
